Icons are often called ,Windows into Heaven‘. We tried to
catch the beauty
and grandeur of some Russian icons of the
16th - 19th century on icon-
cards. Our icon-cards, for which
we looked at hundreds
of icons to check
their suitability for making cards, satisfy highest requirements.
The expla-
nation on the back of each card is in English
and German and
considers
aspects of art history as well as
the theological meaning.
